Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Gruviona website and the services provided through it. By registering an account you accept them. They are written in plain English on purpose: terms you cannot read are terms you cannot trust.
The nature of this website
Gruviona is a technology and information platform. The website introduces the service, carries the registration process and provides information and analysis relating to trading in cryptocurrencies and other financial assets. Trading transactions themselves are executed with the licensed counterparty through which the trading service operates, under the terms disclosed to you during account activation. Nothing on this website is a personal recommendation, investment advice or an offer of securities, and information published here is general information about how the platform works.
1. Use of the website and services
You may use the website and the platform for lawful personal investment purposes, provided you are at least eighteen years old and not resident in a jurisdiction where use of such services is prohibited. Registration requires accurate personal information, and access to trading functions requires completion of identity verification. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure; our side of that shared duty is described on the security page. The service is provided with the goal of continuous availability, subject to the maintenance and risk warnings stated in these terms.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy the platform's content for commercial redistribution, reverse-engineer its software, attempt to bypass usage limits or verification controls, resell access to the service, or use the service on behalf of another person concealing their identity. Automated access to the website other than through interfaces we provide is not permitted. These restrictions exist to protect the integrity of the service and the data of other users; they do not restrict your ordinary use of the platform as a client.
3. Marketing materials and information mailings
By registering you consent to receive service messages: verification updates, transaction confirmations, security notices and account communications, which are operational and cannot be switched off. Separate marketing messages, such as market commentary or service news, are sent only where you have consented, and every marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link honoured promptly. Your transaction history and account activity are never used to build advertising profiles sold or shared outside the service.
4. Intellectual property
The Gruviona name, the logo, the website design, the written content and the platform's software are protected by intellectual-property rights and remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain all rights in the content you submit, such as identity documents and correspondence, and you grant us a licence to process them for the purposes of operating and securing your account. No licence is granted to use our marks or content except as needed to use the service normally.
5. Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential: we keep your personal data and account records, you keep any non-public operational information you legitimately receive, such as configuration details or credentials shared during support. Confidentiality obligations do not apply where disclosure is required by law or a competent authority, and the anti-money-laundering page explains the circumstances in which the law limits what we may tell you about disclosures.
6. Links
The website links to third-party services we do not operate, such as the embedded map on the contact page and payment providers during deposits and withdrawals. A link is not an endorsement of everything at the destination, and the third party's own terms govern what happens on its service. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of external sites.
7. Prohibited use
It is prohibited to use the website or the platform to breach any law, send spam, attempt unauthorised access to accounts or infrastructure, distribute malware, infringe intellectual-property rights, launder the proceeds of crime, or disguise the identity of the beneficial owner of an account. Attempting any of these is grounds for immediate suspension, and where the law requires it, a report to the competent authorities. We investigate suspicious activity rigorously because the great majority of clients, who use the platform honestly, are the people dishonest use endangers.
8. Support
Support is provided by the Client Support & Compliance team at [email protected], Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30 GMT/BST (excluding public holidays), with a first reply usually under one business hour. Registered clients additionally have a personal manager. Complaints follow the documented procedure on the complaints page, including the escalation route through recognised UK dispute-resolution channels.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and the information on it are provided in good faith and kept as accurate and complete as is reasonably possible, but accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed, and information may change as the service develops. Market data shown on the site, including ticker prices, is for information and may differ from execution-time data. Analysis produced by the platform is decision support, not a guarantee of outcome: trading involves risk, and no feature of the service removes it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for loss arising from use of the website is limited to the amount of the fees you paid to the platform in the twelve months before the event, save where a greater limitation is excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as provider outages or force majeure, or for trading losses that result from market movement, because market movement is the nature of the service. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are unaffected.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Gruviona against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to anything caused by our own breach or negligence.
Other provisions
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to your right to use the dispute-resolution channels described on the complaints page. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms; the current version is the one published on this page, applying from publication, and material changes are announced in the platform dashboard. Continuing to use the service after a change means the updated terms govern. Related documents: the privacy policy, the risk disclosure, the AML and KYC policy and the withdrawal policy.
