Getting started: your first steps on the platform
This guide walks you from the registration form to a running, configured account. Follow it in order and you will finish with a verified account, a funded balance, an exchange connection, monitoring that suits you and a dashboard you know how to read. No step assumes prior trading experience.
What you will be able to do
By the end of this guide you will have an activated account, a first deposit in GBP, connected market data, strategy settings you chose deliberately and a withdrawal route you have tested. Everything else on the platform builds on that foundation.
You are not doing it alone
After registering, a personal manager calls you, usually within 24 hours, and stays with you through activation, deposit and setup. If any step below is unclear, that call is the place to ask; there is no such thing as a too-basic question here.
1Register your account
Start with the registration form: your first name, last name, email address and phone number. It takes under two minutes. Choose a password you do not use anywhere else, because a reused password is the weakest link in any financial account, and confirm your email when the verification message arrives.
Turn on two-factor authentication as soon as you are logged in, before any money moves. The platform supports authenticator apps, which are stronger than SMS codes. Store your recovery codes somewhere safe offline: paper in a drawer beats a screenshot in your photo library. From the security settings page you can also review notification options, so login alerts reach you on the channel you actually read.
Identity verification comes next, and it is required before trading begins: a passport or UK driving licence, plus a recent proof of address. The AML and KYC page explains exactly what is accepted and how long each stage takes; the short version is that most submissions clear automatically within minutes, and anything unclear goes to a human reviewer who tells you what to re-submit.
2Connect the platform to your exchange account
Gruviona works with market data and execution across major exchanges: Binance, Crypto.com, OKX, Bybit and KuCoin. The connection is made with an API key you create on the exchange yourself, which means you stay in control of what the platform can and cannot do on your behalf. Your personal manager walks you through creating the key during your setup call if you have not done it before.
Create the key with only the permissions the service needs: reading account data and trading is enough. Withdrawal permission must stay switched off; no legitimate setup step requires it, and leaving it off is a hard boundary that protects you even if the key were ever exposed. Paste the key into the connection page in the dashboard, confirm, and the status light turns green when the connection is live.
You can revoke or rotate the key at any time, from the exchange side or the platform side, and the security page describes how API activity appears in your audit history. If a key ever needs replacing, disable the old one first, then add the new one, so no orphaned key remains active.
3Configure analysis and monitoring
With the account verified and connected, the analysis configuration is next. You choose which markets the platform monitors for you, from crypto pairs to equity instruments, and your manager helps match that list to what you actually want exposure to. A focused list you understand beats a long list you do not.
Then the conditions: the risk parameters that bound what strategies may do, such as position sizing and the volatility conditions under which the system pauses. These settings are yours to set and change, and a deliberate first configuration matters more than an elaborate one. Notifications come last: choose which events reach you by email or push, new device logins, order executions, completed withdrawals, and which simply appear in the dashboard when you next look. People who set notifications deliberately in week one are the people who still read them in month six.
4View and manage from the dashboard
The dashboard is where everything above becomes visible. The portfolio view shows balance, open positions and performance over time. The strategy section shows what is active, what each strategy is doing and its historical activity, and lets you pause or adjust. The audit history records every login, API connection and settings change with a timestamp. Reports consolidate deposits, withdrawals, commissions and results into statements you can check line by line.
Spend your first sessions simply reading: watch how positions appear, how the reports describe them and how the strategy view changes when the market does. The mobile dashboard carries the same functions, so monitoring on a commute is the same experience as at a desk. When you are ready to withdraw, the withdrawal page in the dashboard is the only place a request is ever made from, and the first request confirms the route for the ones after it.
Important notes before you fund anything
No guarantee of profit
Automated analysis is decision support, not a profit machine. Markets move against positions, strategies have losing periods, and past performance does not indicate future results. Start with an amount you could afford to see fall in value.
The decisions stay yours
The platform executes within the boundaries you set. Setting those boundaries, reviewing them as circumstances change and deciding how much capital to commit are responsibilities that remain with you, with your manager's help available at every point.
Read the risk disclosure
Before your first deposit, read the risk disclosure page in full. It describes each risk class plainly, with practical steps that reduce, but never remove, each one.
